Description

Baked graham cracker crust recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 1012 whole crackers)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Optional: pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F(175°C)
  2. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and sugar.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and mix until the crumbs are fully coated and the mixture resembles wet sand.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie dish, using the back of a measuring cup or glass to pack it evenly on the bottom and sides.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant.
  6. Let the crust cool completely before filling it with your no-bake cream cheese pie filling.

Notes

If you like a touch of cinnamon in your crust, add 1/2 teaspoon to the crumb mixture before adding butter. It goes beautifully with a cream cheese filling.
