- 1 large organic apple (Sweetango, Honeycrisp or Fuji works great), cored and chopped (peel on for extra fiber)
- 1 frozen banana (for creaminess)
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or milk of choice)
- 2 Tbsp rolled oats (optional, adds thickness and staying power)
- 1 Tbsp almond butter (or peanut butter)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (optional, for a colder/thicker smoothie)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust – add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if you’d like it sweeter, or extra milk if too thick.
